Sephora HaulFashion & Beauty
I am a Sephora addict. I admit it. I’m in there nearly every week, and can spend hours just browsing all of the amazing products and brands that are available. My shiny red VIB Rouge card is honestly my favorite card in my wallet.
I usually avoid the mall in the month of December because I simply cannot abide the crowds, so when I finally went back this week I hadn’t had a Sephora fix in five weeks. And I went a little overboard.
Here’s a quick peek at everything I bought, and I’ll follow up in subsequent posts about how I get on with each of the items.
I’m almost out of my current cleanser, and have been wanting to try a balm cleanser to see what all the fuss is about. Despite trying damn near everything, I continue to struggle with adult acne so I take my skin cleansing very seriously. I really hope I end up liking this.
I’m not terribly brand-loyal when it comes to mascara, and I like to try a new one every time mine runs out. I love Marc Jacobs makeup, and I like the angular packaging on this one so I’m excited to try it out.
I’ve had this brush forever and absolutely love it. I don’t use it as much with my shorter hair, but it was indispensable when my hair was long. My naughty dog managed to chew up the handle on my current one, so this was just a replacement. My daughter uses it more than I do, but since I’m growing my hair out I wanted to go ahead and get a new one.
I’ve never purchased anything from the Kora brand, and am only familiar with it because Miranda Kerr is the brand’s founder. Which honestly was a good enough reason to try this! (I mean, have you seen her?!) I like the idea of health supplements that aren’t in pill form, so I’m excited to try these. Also, the packaging is just beautiful and it makes me happy to see it in my cabinet. It’s the little things, right?
I don’t think I need to explain the importance of eyebrows to anyone, and the Lancome pencil I’ve been using for months is on its last legs. I have a couple of sparse areas, especially on my left brow, and the lovely gal at Sephora recommended this product. I’m a little nervous that it may be too dark, but I’ll withhold judgement until I’ve tried it.
If you’ve been reading my blog for a while you’ll know I’m obsessed with face masks, and I love trying new ones (I reviewed a whole bunch in this post). Dr. Dennis Gross products are pricey, so I was thrilled to see this 5-pack for just $17 so I can give it a try without too much investment.
As a side note, I got my VIB anniversary email from Sephora the other day and almost died laughing. My relationship with Sephora has officially lasted longer than any relationship I’ve had with a man! And it’s come with a lot less drama. Cheers to our long and happy life together, Sephora!
Thanks so much for reading, and please let me know what you think of any of these products if you’ve tried them!
