Steals and DealsLife
I love to shop, but as a single mom my budget doesn’t necessarily support my hobby of choice. So of course, I always look for ways to get more for my money and I take personal pride in getting a great deal. Here are a few things I picked up last week for a bargain!
Mirrored Tray (no longer available)

I adore Pottery Barn, and never walk through the mall without peeking at their sale section. Every once in a while I find a gem, like this gorgeous mirrored tray. The braided edge matches the mirrored trays I already have for my perfumes, and this one will be a perfect addition for holding accessories. I always lay out my outfits the night before, so this tray will house whatever jewelry I plan to wear the next day. It was originally priced at $39.50, but I scooped it up for $17.99.
Okay, so I actually found two gems on my last trip to the PB sale section. I start every day with a cup of coffee, and there’s something about a cute mug that makes the morning just a little bit better. I rarely find my initial available, so when I saw this ‘H’ mug I had to have it! Originally priced at $7, I got it for $3.99. There are lots still available!
If you’ve read some of my previous posts, you know that Net-a-Porter is my favorite online retailer. I wait all year for their very rare sales, and then promptly create a wish list and wait for my favorite items to reduce to their lowest possible level. When these gorgeous pink sneakers hit 70% off I nearly broke my phone screen tapping to finalize the purchase. I’ll be styling these with white denim in the spring to add a pop of color and hint of sheen. I only paid $27 (originally $90), and there are several sizes still available! They do run big, so go down a half size.
This blog post is starting to read like a Pottery Barn commercial, which I promise it isn’t. My sons have been needing new bed sheets (they are 12 and their current ones are so gross), and I had $50 in PB Rewards that were going to expire. PB Teen was holding a bedding sale, so I picked out these sheet sets for the twins. They’re part of the Favorite Tee collection, and they really do feel like a perfectly worn-in t-shirt. Before the sale and my rewards they would have been over $160, but I walked away spending $50 for both. #WINNING
